Welcome to Immanuel!
This is your new church home

We are a group of people trying hard to be faithful disciples of Jesus in the ordinary, every day stuff of life. We aren't perfect and so we don't expect you to be. If you would like to connect, contact our church office or pastors, or come by for a visit! We look forward to seeing you!

Our mission is shaped by the words:

Gather. Grow. Go.

We Gather to worship God and glorify him with our lives. Not just on Sundays, but everyday throughout the week we want to be a community of disciples coming together in life and sharing in each other's story.
We Grow in our relationship to God through Jesus and the gospel and in our relationships to each other and the community around us.
We Go out on mission with God to make disciples of all nations and to reveal his kingdom to the world as we live out of God's love and in service to our neighbours.

We understand that you might have questions and here are some quick answers to frequently asked questions. If your specifc question isn't answered below, let us know and we will answer it for you.

When does the church service start?

We begin at 10am every Sunday morning with brief announcements and singing. Generally people arrive anytime after 9:30am to hangout in the foyer or get a good seat.

What about my kids?

During our worship service we have nursery care for infants and toddlers - they can be checked in prior to the service in the east hallway. After our chance to support the ministries and mission of Immanuel Church kids in Kindergarten through Grade 4 leave to Children's Worship Time - a chance for them to sing and learn about Jesus with their friends. Your children can be signed in before the service in the foyer. Just look for the Children's Worship Time desk.

What opportunities are there for kids and teens?

In addition to our weekly Children's Worship Time, we have ministry programs for boys and girls throughout the week; youth group for teens where we study God's Word, play games, and develop meaningful relationships through discipleship; and opportunities to serve locally or abroad in volunteering and on missions trips.

What do I wear?

Wear what you are comfortable in. Most of us are dressed casually, some a little more formally, and some wearing shorts and sandals year-round. What matters to us is that you are here.

Where do I park? How do I enter?

Parking is along the west of the church building or behind (to the north). The side lot has accessible parking spaces by the main doors and the rest fill up quickly - so come early if you want one  of those. If you park to the rear, you can enter through either the west (main) or east entrances. Paths to both doors are clearly marked.

If these lots are full you can also park next door at Langley Fundamental Elementary School.
