Join together with worship leaders, volunteers, and church staff as we reflect on how we bring our inmost being into the presence of God. We will learn together from Brian Doerksen, Joshua Leventhal, and Kaitlyn Rose Leventhal, all the while spending time in worship as the people of God.

"Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being praise his holy name." Psalm 103:1

Brian Doerksen: Brian is a songwriter, recording artist and songwriting instructor (founder of ‘Unlocking Your Songs’), but most of all he loves spending time with his high-school sweetheart Joyce (they have been married for 38 years.) Brian & Joyce have 4 adult daughters and 2 adult sons with Fragile X Syndrome. His songs are known and sung internationally in faith communities of all kinds including ‘Come Now is the Time to Worship’, ‘Refiner’s Fire’, ‘Hope Of The Nations’ and ‘The River.’ Learn more here.

Joshua Leventhal: Joshua is American-born, Canadian-raised. He is a two time GMA winning, Juno nominated, eight time GMA nominated recording artist (Wins for Album of the Year, Song of the Year). He is married to a fellow creative, the love of his life—Kaitlyn Rose, who is a full-time abstract painter. He is currently based outside of Vancouver, BC, and is the Director of Worship at Main Street Church in Chilliwack. Joshua's writing responds to the goodness of Christ across the spectrum of human experience—life and death, joy and sorrow, expectation and waiting. All with poetic determination and unflinching honesty. Intricate and fertile lyrics, woven through a rich and diverse sonic tapestry. Learn more here.

Kaitlyn Rose Leventhal: Kaitlyn is a visual artist whose journey began in childhood with a love for creativity that was later constrained by perfectionism and realism, until she discovered the freedom of abstraction in college. She holds dual degrees from Michigan State University: a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Humanities and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art, with concentrations in painting and ceramics and a minor in graphic design. A transformative season of personal suffering in 2018 led her to fully embrace abstract painting as a means of healing, expression, and spiritual surrender. Now living in British Columbia with her husband and their dog, Kaitlyn finds inspiration in the natural beauty surrounding her as she continues to explore the light, joy, and purpose found through the creative process.
